Startup Defender 2.8

Startup Defender - Startup Manager and Startup Firewall. Startup Defender is a small Windows startup manager program that sits in your Windows tray and constantly monitors in real time the startup locations on your PC to help prevent programs from auto starting up behind your back. If a program tries to write itself into any startup location Startup Defender will pop up a windows and ask if the program is allowed to place itself to start automatically with Windows.

It is presumptous of the person suggesting this software should be free. I am sure the creator(s) of SD2.8 put a lot of time and resources into their software. I doubt the critic has even used the software considering what time it is. If I comment

Just a comment on the previous criticism.

See this program with the ability to also posssibly detect and remove any unwanted sources causing the 'bad' startup

This way the Trojans and other viruses we get would be stopped in their tracks.. maybe this could be a boot up runner. To further its usefulness

Shutdown issue

Fix the app so that you can shutdown Windows XP Media Edition SP3, without first having to Shutdown/Exit Startup Defender
